Furlenco Raises INR 125 Crore In Funding

Furlenco picked up INR 125 crore in a new round. That’s about USD 15 million. The money came from Sheela Foam Limited, the company behind Sleepwell. Whiteoak and investor Madhu Kela put in some too.
This is Sheela Foam’s first investment in Furlenco since they bought a 35% stake in July 2023. That earlier deal was for INR 300 crore.
Furlenco plans to use the cash to add more products, build up its omnichannel operations, and scale distribution. The goal is to get the business ready for public markets. The company also said it is thinking about a possible IPO in the coming years.
Furlenco started in 2012. It has raised several rounds before from investors like Lightbox Ventures and others. It claims over 1.5 lakh active subscribers now and says it has furnished more than 10 lakh homes in India.
It turned profitable in FY25 with INR 240 crore in revenue and INR 3 crore in profit, after a loss the year before. Total funding so far is USD 313 million.
Furlenco runs a subscription-based furniture rental service. It serves customers who need furniture across cities in India. People can rent items, buy them new, or pick refurbished
